Happy Labs conducts UX research. Below, you can read in detail how we handle your data.

The personal data you share with us through our website or marketing communications is used to provide you with the requested information and for marketing purposes. We ask for your full name and an email address or other contact details.

We do not receive any personal data from you unless you provide it to us. We will never sell or disclose your personal data to other parties. We retain this data for a maximum of 12 months. After this period, we will delete or anonymize your data.

Cookies

  • Our website does not use analytical or tracking cookies.

  • Our video service partner (Vimeo) only places functional cookies.

  • When you visit our website, we do not track you, nor do any other parties.

Your Rights

Security

Happy Labs remains responsible at all times for the confidentiality and security of the personal data you have provided to us.

All employees of Happy Labs are bound by their employment agreement to handle your data confidentially and receive regular training on procedures for handling personal data.

If you request it, we will delete your data.

If we possess your personal data, we retain it for up to 12 months after obtaining it. 



You can decide at any time that we should delete your data earlier and request us to do so. In both cases, we will delete or anonymize all personal data stored up to that point.

You may always see what data we have collected about you.

If you want to review your data, contact us using the details below. Clearly specify which data you want to review and provide us with proof of your identity. If it turns out that we have incorrect data about you in our systems, we will correct it at your request. We can only grant access to personal data if we are certain we are providing it to the correct person. We will process a request for access within one business week.

Are you dissatisfied with how we process your data?

Please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our utmost to find a suitable solution. If we cannot resolve the issue, you can always file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority or an applicable court.

  • Where we refer to 'we' in these terms, we mean Happy Labs. Happy Labs is a trade name of Valsplat BV and is located at Prins Hendrikkade 22, 1012 TM Amsterdam.

  • According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are responsible for processing personal data as described in these terms. We do this because it is necessary for our business operations and only with your consent.
